I called and was lucky enough to get through, I was given a telephone consultation with my GP.
My doctor called me on time and asked me to come in to see him on the same day.
My doctor listened to my description of my issue, examined me, then requested I go for an x-ray. Dr said he wanted to see me in a fortnight by which time the x-ray would be back.

The pharmacist was very friendly and polite and was happy to explain my blood test results and answer any questions I had. I didn't feel rushed in any way. The only gripe I do have and its not with this Pharmacist at all but the Practice in general. I had to wait a long time for my results over a month to be advised that I have diabetes. I could have had my medication earlier. My first appointment was cancelled and so had to wait another 2 weeks for the next one. I know the GP's have a lot on their plate but if things are going to take so long especially if medication is needed why an explanation letter and prescription cannot be issued and then have an appointment in order to speak to someone who can answer any questions.

Since the birth of the NHS in 1947 when I was four years old and registered with Doctor Helen Wagstaff and her sister, The Ridgeway Surgery has consistently kept me alive and healthy enough to enjoy my eighty first birthday this October.
When I read in the press of the problems and chaos with other surgeries I realise my own privilege of being a `Ridgeway`s patient, and all the more so since I retired and depend on the staff more, from the receptionist to the nurses and doctors, always listening, diagnosing, and proactive in some emergency referrals I needed a few years back.
The `Ridgeway Surgery` is aptly named in my book. Right at the top!

I was delayed due to Uber driver delay but was seen even though I missed my appointment. This was a positive experience for me. I appreciate the attentiveness of the doctor that attended to me.
Upon talking to me the doctor took the decision that she felt appropriate to resolve my medical issues. I am very pleased with the prompt action by the surgery unlike my experience at the fracture clinic in the hospital who never responded to my calls or follow up call after my A&E attendance recently.

I saw the doctor face to face. I was examined and it was explained what treatment had been requested. Whilst I was waiting patients were phoning and being given the same day appointments. I was pleasantly surprised and left feeling I was getting help.

Dr Gormley is always very helpful and positive, makes you feel you’re being looked after properly, a bit like the old days when your doctor actually knew you and your medical history.
Hard to achieve with the number of people at a practice nowadays, but all doctors seem good at the surgery.

I injured my knee on Sunday and by Tuesday morning it was too painful to walk. So phoned the surgery on Tuesday morning and they got me in on a cancellation which was very quick, within 2 hours
